An estate sale is not the same as a garage or yard sale. It involves the liquidation of the entire contents of a home - many times accumulated over a lifetime - in an orderly and professional manner. You do not need a house full of antiques for an estate sale. The majority of our sales include everyday useable items with occasional antiques and vintage items. If you feel you don’t have enough for an estate sale, let us evaluate your belongings - we can offer other options for liquidating should it be too little.

• Call for a free, no obligation consultation. We will discuss your time frame and take a walk through your home to assess how best to showcase your sale.

• We will review our contract, fee and instructions for disbursement of proceeds. Our fee is a flat percentage of total sales. There are no upfront charges to you.

• We will stage your residence professionally to optimize interest in each item. No need to re-arrange your home or discard belongings. We will clean out drawers, closets, attic and garage.

• We use our expertise, experience and research sources to price all items as close to their true value - your input on key items is always welcome.

• Pictures will be taken upon completion of the staging and advertisements will be created for our internet websites (HowieandHuggins.com and estatesales.net), as well as local newspaper advertising.

• Directional signs will be placed on the day of sale at major intersections and in neighborhoods.

• Customers will form a line on sale day and will enter your home on a first come, first served basis (no number system).

• We provide a staff that is consistently monitoring the premises to ensure items are being properly handled through the check out process.

• After the sale, counters are wiped down, house is vacuumed and left empty.

• Proceeds are disbursed as per instructions given at contract signing.
